HIGHGUARD - MARA

Mara, our dark witch. Her powers hold a deep mystery and so does her past. Mara is a legend that stand through time, stuck in a young appearance but as old as the lost continent of Highguard. She has lived many lives, seen people she loved perish while she continued living.
Her powers while incredibly strong, could look like a curse to many. Mara's immortality is highly tied to the souls she absorb. Her presence is terrifying but she is not everything she seems to be. Behind her eternal beauty and imposing facade lies a deep reservoir of emotion, wisdom, and loneliness, though few will ever get close enough—or live long enough—to see it.
Mara volunteered to become a Warden. Something about the Lost Land holds a familiar feeling she is gravitated towards.

There was a delicate balance we wanted to tread on Mara's design. There's an enormous amount of beauty on her but strangeness and disturbance at the same time. Her pauldrons holds the language of petals while her sleeves are meant to hide what her powers really look like, spikes of dark magic emanate from her arms. Her orbs connected through the design, having a storage for the souls she carry on the back.
Her design is a parallelism of her story, a dried flower stuck in time. Her outfit up until the neck, one can imagine how suffocating her
burden can feel.
