Redmane is our barbarian beast master. Him and his people in High Steepes have a very special connection with animals, Redmane is capable of absorving the evergy of a predator and unleash savagery and strengh. His brutal approach to war has made him extremely famous in the realm.
People at High Steepes are very tough, being in the plains exposed to the wilderness of the area and very far away from the next vilage made them create their own traditions and codes. A lot of them are trained for war since they’re very young. Many tried to take over the plains in High Steep but they remain strong and unmovanble.
The name Redmane isn’t something he chose. In High Steepes, warriors are named after their battles.
He was named afted one of the most brutal battles the plains can remember. He appeared from the mist of a calmed dead field with his mane covered in blood. Since that day, his mane remained Red, giving him his name and his reputation.
But what brought him to the lost land was not adventure nor coin. After uncovering a web of conspiracy and lies, this barbaric enforcer has set off to the lost land to clear the name of his departed partner and challenge those who try to stop him.

For his design, we wanted to show the culture that is behind the warriors of High Steepes. They work with natural materials like the hard leather he wears weived in a specific way for more durability, attaching nodes to be better protected against Vesper. They all wear pelts and manes from the very first animal they’ve connected with and recicled clothes from past warriors to channel their energy onto them. Redmane’s tusks are part of their rank system. Big chrome tusks are the highest rank a warrior can have in the High Steepes.
