This monster hunter is a wildwalker, descended from an ancient race of magic wielders once thought extinct. Far to the North in the Realm, Ekon trained in the arts of tracking, pathfinding, marksmanship, anatomy, bestiary studies, alchemy, science, economics, literature. These skills, combined with Ekon’s unique ability to become a direwolf, made him the most formidable monster hunter the order had seen in generations. But when his mentor, and closest thing to family, goes missing in the lost land, there is no monster or warden this great predator will allow to stand in his way.

On Ekon we really wanted to reflect the hunter on him with his design but showcase his sophisticated personality. It was important for us to establish a clear visual identity for both his forms, the scars and his main adornment remains visible on his wolf form. That pendant is a heirloom from someone important he knew once. Wildwalker’s lifespan is larger than a regular human, his scars, his temper and maturity was key to reflect someone lived in and wise.
